Kebabs without the kebabs

Tonight for dinner, I made shrimp kebabs - minus the kebab part.  I had planned on using the grill (yes, the grill even though it's only March 1st - in my book, grilling season never ends, not even when it's snowing.  Thank you Mr. Gas Grill) but we're out of propane for the grill (note to self: take the tank down for a refil).  So instead, I sauteed the vegetables and the pinapple and broiled the shrimp - then just mixed it all up at the end.  Oh, and did I mention it was DANG GOOD?

Sorry there's no picture, but it dissappeard too quickly for me to capture it photographically - I'll try to remember the camera next time.  I wish I would've made some rice to serve with it because that would have been fantastic.  I'll remember that for next time as well.

By the way, I've super-charged my blog here so that I can post recipes and link my blog posts to recipes (see top right).  Cool, huh?

Sounds like it was good. I agree that grilling is great year round. We BBQ'd with the grill just last week. Like the new look to the blog.
