1/2 Cup Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
2 2/3 Cups Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt
Cream butter and sugar together. Stir in egg, vanilla, and sour cream.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, soda, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and stir to combine. Knead by hand if needed to bring it all together.
Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes. Lightly dust your work surface with powdered sugar and roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick. Use cookie cutters to shape cookies as desired.
Bake at 400° for 5 - 7 minutes. Allow cookies to cool on pan for 2 minutes then transfer to a cooling rack until completely cool and set up.
